A timeline of growth
From a single registration in 1980 to a society serving educators across the whole of South Goa.
- 2022
Started an extension counter at Keshav Smruti High School, Alto-Dabolim, at the hands of Shri Krishna (Daji) Salkar, MLA of Vasco Constituency and Chairman of Damodar Kala Vaibhav Education Society, Alto-Dabolim. Our area of operation now extends to the entire South Goa — Salcete, Mormugao, Canacona, Quepem, Sanguem, Ponda and Dharbandora talukas.
- 2019
Started an extension counter at Chawdi, Canacona, at the hands of the Deputy Speaker of the Goa State Legislative Assembly Shri Isidore Fernandes, Shri Ramesh Tawadkar (Ex Minister for Sports, Govt of Goa) and Shri Vijay Pai Khot (Ex MLA, Canacona).
- 2018
Shifted to a new corporate-styled office at Osia Mall, Fatorda, Margao. Inaugurated at the hands of the Speaker of the Goa State Assembly Dr. Pramod Sawant, in the presence of Shri Vijay Sardesai (Hon. Minister of Town & Country Planning) and Shri Prasad Volvoikar (Deputy Registrar, Office of Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt of Goa).
- 2015
Sahakar Bharati adjudged our society as the Best Salary Earners Cooperative Credit Society. The award and certificate were presented at the All India Salary Earners Cooperative Conference held at Porvorim, Goa.
- 2014
Hon. Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar presented the Best Performing Society award to Mr. Kisan Phadte, Chairman, at the bidecennial function of the Quepem Urban Co-op Society.
- 2006
Our Chairman was awarded Best Cooperative Chairman on 1st June 2006 at the hands of MLA Shri Luizinho Faleiro.
- 2005
Mr. Sudin Dhavaliker, Hon. Minister for Cooperation & P.W.D., presented the “Best Cooperative Chairman 2005” Goa State award at Sahakar Sankul, Panaji, in the presence of Mr. Lalit Gandhi.

Madgaon School Complex Co-operative Credit Society, Margao was established on 20th March 1980 and registered under Reg. No. 3, Co-op .b-5/South Goa/80 in terms of the Co-operative Societies Rules 1962 and the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act 1960 as applied to the State of Goa.
