Madgaon School Complex Co-operative Credit Society has been doing Yeomen service in the field of Cooperation as well as Education and it is worth for others to follow, said Chief Guest Dr Shivanand Bandekar, Dean of Goa Medical College while speaking at the annual Prize Distribution and Felicitation Program of this society in the conference Hall of Ravindra Bhavan at Margao. He spoke about the necessity of making understand today’s students’ community about the availability of various opportunities in education which are not only restricted to medicine and Engineering. He also explained how the need of Dialysis technician was felt during the first Covid wave saying that he urged students community to take up such courses along with their formal education that will provide them good opportunities of employment as well as service. He was addressing the students after awarding the cash prizes, Merit Certificates and mementoes along with their Parents for the meritorious academic performance at the SSC, HSSC, Diploma, Graduate and Post Graduate examinations held in March/April 2021 along with those who excelled in sports and Extra-Curricular Activities. Total of 83 Children of the members of the society were felicitated. On this occasion Mrs Sylvia Fernades, Deputy Director of Education was Guest of Honour, She also spoke on the occasion. In her impressive speech She mentioned that such tremendous and extra ordinary growth of the financial Institution is possible only when there is Integrity among the members and Transparancy in the functioning of the Society. She appreciated the Chairman Shri Babaji Sawant, Ex Chairman Kisan Phadte and the Board of Directors of the Society for the dedication and commitment towards the strengthening and growing of the society. Chairman of the Society Shri Babaji Sawant in his welcome speech appreciated and thanked the members for the trust and faith they have shown on the Board of Directors in electing unopposed for the term of five years. He briefly stated the progress of the society and assured the members to continue to work with Integrity and transparency. Two of the Ex Director of the Society Shri Chandrakant Patil and Smt Chanda Kittur were felicitated on the Occasion. Treasurer Mrs Lourencia Rebello Presented the Report, Dr Gunaji Dessai and Mrs Sarita Fernandes introduced the Guests. Headmaster Shri Tulshidas Dessai and Mr Vallabh naik introduced Felicitees while Secretary Sndeep Redkar Proposed vote of thanks. Vice Chairman Peter Gomes was also present on the dais, the Program ended with National Anthem.
