Madgaon School complex Cooperative Credit Society is the leading salary earners institution in the state of goa having its existence for last four decades.
The society which has started in March 1988 with 36 promoters with initial share capital of Rs 36000/ has grown to the extent of having over 2000 shareholders enhancing share capital to over 3 crores. It is providing financial services like advances in the form of personal Loan of 10 lakhs at the interest rate of 9.5%, Housing Loan at the interest rate of 9%, Two wheelers and five wheelers loan at the interest rate of 8% apart from Recurring deposit and Term deposit facilities for the benefit of Teaching and Non-teaching staff of all the educational Institutions across Salcete, Marmagao, Quepem, Sanguem and Canacona Taluka.
This Society has been unique one having membership to people working in the field of education having more than 175 salary heads. It has consistently obtained A grade and refunded the dividend and patronage to its members since last many years. In 2019 the first extension counter was opened for the benefit of the educational staff from Canacona Taluka at Chawadi which has shown good response and there was a consistent request from the people from Marmagao taluka to open its extension counter.
Now Society is opening its second extension counter at Dabolim in Marmagao Taluka in Keshav Smriti School on Saturday at 4:30 Pm at the hands of Shri Mouvin Godinho, MLA of Dabolim and Minister for Transport, Panchayat and Industries and Shri. Daji Salkar, MLA Vasco in Presence of Shri Pandurang Korgaonkar. Chairman of the Society Shri Babaji Sawant in the press release said that the Chairman and Management of Damodar Kala Vaibhav Education Society Shri Pandurang Korgaonkar has been kind enough to volunteer to allot the space in their premises to execute the work of the Society for some time. He thanked the Chairman and Management of Keshav Smriti School for this kind gesture.

On the occasion of opening of an extension counter of Madgaon School Complex Cooperative Credit Society in Keshav Smriti School on Saturday 16the July 2022, the society is felicitating the toppers of SSC and HSSC of all the High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools from Marmagao Taluka at the hands of Chief Guest Shri Mouvin Godinho, MLA of Dabolim and Minister for Transport, Panchayat and Industries and Shri Daji Salkar, MLA Vasco in Presence of Shri Pandurang Korgaonkar. Chairman of the Society Shri Babaji Sawant stated in the press release that all together 59 students covering all 35 schools and 8 Higher Secondary Schools toppers of SSC and HSSC at Goa Board Examinations held in march/April 2022 will be felicitated with Cash, Certificate and mementoes. He appealed to all the people working in the field of education specially from Marmagao Taluka as also all working in the field in Cooperation along with others to attend the function to be held in the Keshav Smriti High School hall at 4:30 Pm.
