Four decades of co-operative service
South Goa District Madgaon School Complex Co-Operative Credit Society Ltd, Margao was established on 20th March 1980 and registered under Reg. No. 3, Co-op .b-5/South Goa/80 in terms of the Co-operative Societies Rules 1962 and the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act 1960 as applied to the State of Goa.
The area of operation was originally restricted to five talukas — Salcete, Mormugao, Sanguem, Quepem and Canacona — and the society today operates across the South Goa district. It caters to the needs of staff of educational institutions from all cadres, from primary schools to degree colleges, spanning 175 member institutions.
This varied membership brings diverse thoughts and intelligence to the working of the society. We seek consistent support and continuous co-operation for the growth and development of this co-operative institution.
